Escrow Service Terms and Conditions

1. Service Overview

Hire Heights SecurePay ("Service") provides cryptographic escrow services enabling secure fund transfer between parties through TRC-20 blockchain settlement. The Service holds funds in escrow pending satisfactory completion of agreed-upon terms, then releases funds to designated recipients.

2. Eligibility

Users must be:

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally capable of entering into binding contracts
• Not located in jurisdictions prohibited by applicable law
• In compliance with all applicable regulations governing cryptocurrency transactions
• Not sanctioned by government authorities or designated as a restricted party

Funds may be refunded to the original sender in following circumstances:

• Recipient fails to meet agreed-upon terms within specified timeframe
• Dispute resolution determines funds should be refunded
• Payer requests cancellation before funds are released (subject to 24-hour hold period)
• Technical or security issues prevent proper service delivery

Refunds are processed to the original sending address within 5 business days. Note that blockchain transactions are irreversible; we cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses.

7. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Verify recipient addresses before fund transfer
• Maintain confidentiality of private keys and access credentials
• Immediately report unauthorized access or security breaches
• Provide accurate information in all escrow requests
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding cryptocurrency
• Not use the Service for illegal activities, fraud, or money laundering

8. Security

Our security measures include:

• Multi-signature authentication for fund release authorization
• Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Insurance coverage for qualifying security breaches

However, we cannot guarantee security against all threats. Users acknowledge inherent risks in blockchain transactions and cryptocurrency generally.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hire Heights is not liable for: losses resulting from blockchain network failures, delays, or errors; cryptocurrency market volatility; user errors or negligence; unauthorized access due to compromised credentials; or third-party actions beyond our control. Our maximum liability is limited to the service fee charged for the specific transaction.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Service access for: violation of these terms, illegal activity, fraud, abuse of the Service, or failure to comply with regulations. Terminated users' funds in escrow are handled according to dispute resolution procedures.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms with 30 days written notice. Continued Service use after notification constitutes acceptance of updated terms. For material changes, we will explicitly notify users.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes are resolved through our dispute resolution process first, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.
